QB Issue Resolution:

Remember that tracking Time is only assigning to tasks. There is no cost until you pay for that time. That means, paychecks.

I don’t know how you have been doing your entries.

The easiest way is to start with the timeshseet. Set Payroll to Job Track per earnings Item, and to job track expenses. Then, set each employee to Pay From Time Data.

Then, on the timesheet for that employee, you select the customer, the service item, enter the time. Mark if this is Billable or not, as a Direct Charge for this customer.
