QB Issue Resolution:

No there isn’t a way to do exactly this, to lock in the hours so they always default to the same values.

 

However, you can get close by having QB use hours from the last paycheck.  This is almost the same.

 

To do this, set two preferences in payroll preferences, as highlighted in the attached image:
