QB Issue Resolution:

Sometimes a bank connection does need to be refreshed, so disconnecting and then reconnecting your bank account can help. You can even try disconnecting the bank feeds, then merge the account into a new one, and then reconnect the account once more. These steps regularly help to fix issues such as the one you’re encountering, error 107. If you haven’t tried that yet, I recommend giving it a try. I’ll attach steps for both down below:

Deactivate bank feeds:

  1. From Lists in the upper left-hand corner, choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. In the Chart of Accounts, at the bottom of the window, check the Include inactive checkbox.
  3. Right-click the account that needs to be deactivated then click Edit Account.
  4. Go to the Bank Feed Settings tab.
  5. Select Deactivate all online services. You should get a confirmation that you have just disabled one or more online services for the account but it does not cancel the services with the bank.
  6. Choose OK.
  7. Select Save & Close.
  8. Close and reopen the company file.

Merge accounts:

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts, right-click the problem account, then select Edit Account.
  2. Highlight the Account Name, then click Copy.
  3. At the end of the account name, enter an asterisk (*).
  4. Go to the Chart of Accounts and create a new account.
  5. Paste the Account name without the asterisk (*).
  6. Close and reopen the company file.
  7. Go to Chart of Accounts, right-click the account with the asterisk, then select Edit Account.
  8. Remove the asterisk and select Save & Close.
  9. Click Yes when prompted by the Merge warning dialog box.

At this point, try to reconnect your bank account. If these steps don’t help, The article @KhimG mentioned has other great steps to try.

You may also be encountering something related to data damage. For steps on how to troubleshoot data damage in your company file, please refer to this link here. If you have tried all of these steps, I recommend reaching out to phone support. You can find the information to do so here.
