Yes, you can change the customer’s currency. However, QuickBooks only lets you do this if this customer doesn’t have any created transactions (invoices, estimates, etc.).
This is how to edit a customer profile:
- Go to Sales.
- Select the Customers tab.
- Select a customer and click on the Edit button.
- Select Payment and billing tab.
- Select Euro in the This customer pays me with drop-down.
- Click on Save.
If there are, the This customer pays me with drop-down is grayed out. You’ll need to add a new customer with the Euro as its currency instead. From the Customers page, click on New customer and enter the information.
