QB Issue Resolution:
First, enter a deposit for the amount that you owe your accountant. This will serve as a clearing transaction. Make sure to chooseo Accounts Payable (A/P) in the Account column.
- Click the Create (+) button.
- Select the Bank Deposit.
- Enter the Details in the Add New Deposits field.
- Click Save and New.
Next, you’ll have to record the payment you made to your accountant:
- Click the Create (+) button
- Select Pay Bills.
- Select the deposit entered.
- Click Save and close.
Lastly, record the payment for the State Unemployment Tax:
- Click Taxes, then select Payroll Tax.
- Click Pay Taxes.
- On the Pay Taxes page, locate the SUI tax and click Record Payment.
