QB Issue Resolution:
The inventory item with sub-accounts will show up on the Inventory Valuation Detail report. However, the journal entry involving this inventory is not included on the report. This report shows the posting transactions such as invoices, sales receipts, credit memos, vendor credits, credit card credits, expenses, checks, and refund receipts.
Instead of creating a journal entry, it’ll be best to try creating it as a transaction.
Have a great day!
