QB Issue Resolution:

This is a great question. At QuickBooks, we know business owners are bound to have customers from different countries. The programs multicurrency feature is a great way to manage this.

In QuickBooks Online, customers and their subcustomers each need to have the same currency. When you have a customer using multiple currencies, you need to set them up separately as individual customers. I recommend adding the currency to the customer’s display name since you can’t use the same name twice. For example, it might look like this.

  • John Doe – CAD
  • John Doe – USD

I hope that helps! I’ve pulled a number of our multicurrency articles to help you with this feature.
