QB Issue Resolution:

You can suppress your QuickBooks to refresh its file system. Let me show you how.

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key.
  2. Double click your QuickBooks program icon.
  3. Hold the Ctrl key until you have the No Company Open window.

Then open your company data file in the No Company Open window.

Here’s how:

  1. Press and hold the Alt key.
  2. Click the Open button.
  3. Hold the Alt key until the login window appears.
  4. Release the Alt key.
  5. Enter your username and password.
  6. Press and hold the Alt key.
  7. Click OK and hold the Alt key until your file is completely open. QuickBooks will display a blank desktop.

You’ll then need to save your current display setup, so it won’t revert when you log out.

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Edit tab then hit Preferences.
  2. Under Desktop View select Save current desktop.
