QB Issue Resolution:
An email was sent to contact all of our payment customers since September 3, 2015. This is to inform and educate customers about the upcoming new EMV standards for processing credit cards with a planned effective date on October 2015. However, it will not ask you to sign in/sign up to have your personal information.
This email contains links for customers to:
- · Learn more about EMV (articles available through the online support center and customer can access through a link in the email).
- · Preorder the mobile EMV reader. The USB EMV reader pre-order should be live soon. The mobile reader is $30 and the USB reader will be $75.
- · Any customer that processes a payment using a device, i.e. card present transactions, will be impacted by the change.
