QB Issue Resolution:
QuickBooks Mac does not have a built in calendar. There is integration to some extent with iCal. This is done on a per transaction basis. At the bottom of most transactions (Bills, Bill Payments, Invoices…) is a Calendar icon. This will add the transaction to iCal based upon what it is (bill due date, invoice date, date of bill payment…). It creates a new calendar for each company file you have in QuickBooks. There is no automation as far as getting items to the calendar – per transaction.
I believe QB Win has an activity calendar similar to Quicken built in. That is not part of QB Mac.
Follow Up – I use the iCal integration for client files that have limited activity. For these files I may be in only once or twice a month it puts a reminder on iCal to go into the company’s file and pay a recurring bill
