QB Issue Resolution:
Usually this means that one of the banks or credit card companies you are downloading is not responding. Occasionally those web sites are under maintenance or down.
Try selecting the first account in the pop up on the left of the download transactions window. Then click the download icon. Repeat one by one until you find the one that is not working. IF none of them work then the problem is something else.
