QB Issue Resolution:
Hi Tlines! It looks like you’re using the Classic QuickBooks Online, but I can give you instructions to “duplicate” a Purchase Order, so you can remove back ordered items. If you pull up your QuickBooks Online, and click on the Purchase Order, then click on Make Recurring, and change it to Unscheduled, and Save Template. Now choose Keep working on this Transaction, and you can remove any items which didn’t come in by clicking the red minus sign on the right hand of the screen, and Save. Next, go toVendors, Enter Bill, click on the Purchase Order, and now just the items you actually received will go to the Bill. When the backordered items come in, just click on Company, Recurring Transactions, change the Template Type to Unscheduled, click on the Template, change the PO number to a new one, remove the items that previously came in, and click on Save. Now go to Vendors, Enter Bill, click on the Purchase Order, and Save.
Please let me know if that helps, and we’re working hard to get any Customer who wants to update to the New QuickBooks there as soon as possible.
