QB Issue Resolution:

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Setting up screen sharing with technical support prompted installation of a chrome extension, and the “next” button appeared.

Resolution for Issue 'Going to Tools/Import Data, select file it takes me back to page where I select browse, file I selected is visible (but grayed out), don’t get the NEXT button to click Trying to upload a QBO file into Quickbooks Online. Started out by going to Tools – Import Data, selecting a file I downloaded from the bank, but then I get stuck. Called tech support and they told me I had to first upload the file to QB and then import it, and they sent me instructions… here’s my reply to them, which I find out afterwards the email was a “do not reply” and bounces back, and now they’re closed until Monday… The instructions you sent were exactly what I was doing… I retrieved the qbo file from my bank where it resides on my desktop. I go to the the bank account in quickbooks, and under update I select file upload, browse to find the file, select it, and click on OPEN. This is where the glitch is… it takes me back to the page where I can select BROWSE, and the file I selected is visible in the browse field (but grayed out), and I don’t get the “NEXT” button to click (according to the instructions). I’m trying to upload a qbo file, on a mac with the most current version of Mojave – tried both Chrome and Firefox browsers. I’ll try Safari next but doubt it will work. Hoping you can help me further – am I screwing this up somehow? Thanks' available: Yes (Solved).
