QB Issue Resolution:

The following instructions will combine accounts including all of their transactions and deactivate that extra account for you. Please keep in mind that this will only work as long as both accounts are the same type.

Click on the Gear icon and click Chart of Accounts.
Click once on the account you want to delete in the merging process to highlight it.
In the column on the right, select Edit from the drop down.
Change the name to match the name of the account you wish to merge with.
Click Save.
The program will ask if you want to merge; click Yes.
