QB Issue Resolution:
To input your VAT number into your QuickBooks Online profile navigate to ‘Taxes’ on the left hand navigation menu. Near the top right hand side of your screen you will see a box that says ‘Edit VAT’ and then from the drop-down menu select ‘Edit settings’ (see attachment). You will clearly see an area to add your VAT registration number. Once you are happy everything is accurate, click ‘Save’ in the bottom right hand side of the screen.
In regards to your invoices, you can edit which details appear on your invoice by navigating to the company cog (top right hand corner) and selecting ‘Custom form styles’ under the ‘Your Company’ heading. You will see a standard template appear which is for your invoices. Select the blue hyper link that shows ‘Edit’. This will open up a page that is titled ‘Edit invoices that turn heads and open wallets’. From the tabs at the top you can work along editing your invoice as you go. To add in payment details (for example BACS payment methods’ simply click on ‘Content’ and click on the bottom half of your invoice on the right hand side of the screen. Here it will allow you to add payment details into the box and a footer.
