QB Issue Resolution:

Let me show you how to record your quarter 1 tax payment in QuickBooks Self-Employed

You can record your quarter tax payment in QBSE by manually adding a transaction and categorize it as Estimated Taxes. From there, it’ll show the amount you’ve paid on your Quarterly taxes tab.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to your Transactions tab.
  2. Click on Add transaction button.
  3. Enter the date, provide a description of the tax payment and set the type as Business.
  4. For the category, select Estimated Taxes.
  5. Click Save.

Check this add a new transaction in QuickBooks Self-Employed article for more information.

Once done, this will now appear as a payment for Quarter 1. Simply go to Taxes tab, then click Quarterly taxes. I’ve added a screenshot below for your reference. Here’s an article about paying Pay Federal Estimated Quarterly Taxes for more information.
