Let me show you how to record your quarter 1 tax payment in QuickBooks Self-Employed
You can record your quarter tax payment in QBSE by manually adding a transaction and categorize it as Estimated Taxes. From there, it’ll show the amount you’ve paid on your Quarterly taxes tab.
Here’s how:
- Go to your Transactions tab.
- Click on Add transaction button.
- Enter the date, provide a description of the tax payment and set the type as Business.
- For the category, select Estimated Taxes.
- Click Save.
