QB Issue Resolution:

I figured it out myself. Its a small simple UX flaw. The correct category must be selected from the drop down menu of the sign in button., which in itself is not a flaw. However, the sign in button itself should only trigger the drop down menu, and should not be a link because it takes you to a page where it impossible to log in to self employed quick books and thus creates a feedback loop.

Either that or all of the products should be accessible through the sign in button link, which would negate the need for a drop down menu.
