QB Issue Resolution:

landed cost requires a work around

pay the freight bill using a clearing account you set up, expense or asset makes no difference

edit the bill that received the items. then
1. increase the total cost of each item by a portion of the total shipping amount

2. in the account details part, select the clearing account and enter the shipping amount as a negative number

save and click through any warnings about payments being applied

QB will recalculate the item average cost for that purchase
