QB Issue Resolution:
If you could, and you can not, change inventory or assembly items to non-inventory you would change the whole history of the file
My client set up their items with the sales gl number in the expense area and vice versa. I have been able to change most of the items but there are some that are marked inv assy and I cannot change that to non-inventory items. If I try to change the gl account numbers it effects my prior years financials
If last years financials used an expense account when an income account should have been used (and visa versa)
your last years financials are wrong any way. As is your tax filing for last year
