QB Issue Resolution:

If you have the latest version QBO, there is no way to remove “Due Date” with date format.

Best you can do is remove the “Terms – Due on Receipt” from the Invoice customization field. To do this, from the Invoice at the bottom, select Customize > select Header > Uncheck “Terms” box. Terms field will not, but still will show on the actual Invoice screen.
