QB Issue Resolution:
The password won’t stop working on its own. However automatic entry of the password can be set up using Apple’s system keychain. Usually what happens is people move to a different machine and don’t migrate the keychain or they keychain is damaged.
Try launching Apple’s Keychain Access utility. Search for QuickBooks using the search field on the top left. You may see the entry – if you do double click on it, enter your keychain password, and you should see the saved password.
If that doesn’t work, try repairing the keychain using the menu option in Apple’s Keychain Access utility.
If that doesn’t work, you may have moved from another machine or account. Try going back there and looking in Keychain Access Utility there.
As a last resort, you can contact Intuit support and they can help you.
