QB Issue Resolution:


You cannot add an additional Payment Option within Point of Sale.

You can go to the Company Preferences (File > Preferences > Company), select Receipt Tendering, select Discover as a card type you accept and Save. JCB and Diner’s Club card types have been removed from Point of Sale preferences.

An alternative would be to use the Payment Option “Check” for Paypal payments. Within the check number area, you can make a notation of something like “PP xxxxxx” and even assign the Check Payment Type to be mapped directly to the bank account of your choosing by going to the Company Preferences again (see steps above), select Accounts, click the Advanced tab and change the account for check to the PayPal Bank Account.
