QB Issue Resolution:

How do I add a new user?
Answer ID: 3392

You must be a Master Administrator or a Company Administrator to add a new user.

Adding a new user:

Choose the “Gear” icon > Manage Users
Click the New button at the bottom-right.
Select which type of user you’d like them to be, click Next. .
If a custom user, select what access rights you’d like them to have, click Next
Set the users admin rights, click Next.
Enter the new user’s e-mail address and their name, click Next and then Finish.

Adding an accountant as a new user:

Choose the “Gear” icon > Manage Users
Click the New button at the bottom right.
Select which type of user you’d like them to be, at the bottom, check the box next to This user is my accountant, click Next.
Select what access rights you’d like them to have, click Next
Set their admin rights, click Next.
Enter the accountant’s e-mail address and his/her name, click Next and then Finish.

Deleting a user:

Choose the “Gear” icon > Manage Users
Highlight the name of the user you wish to delete.
On the bottom right click Delete.
You will now get this message:
Are you sure you want to delete?
Click Yes.
