QB Issue Resolution:

Thanks for the quick reply. That only means that your Name list or file is possibly damaged. Like what SkinnyRaven said run the Re-sort List function and the Rebuild Data Utility.

Here’s how you can re-sort your Master Name List.

From the Banking menu, select Write Checks
This opens the Write Checks window. Click the Pay to the Order of drop down arrow and press CTRL+L
The Name List opens. Click the View menu and select Re-sort List

If this won’t fix the issue, run the Verify and Rebuild Data Utility to check for errors and to fix data problem.

Go to File menu> Utilities> Verify/Rebuild Data
