QB Issue Resolution:

Excellent questions, I’m glad you checked in before disconnecting the account!

When you disconnect your credit card form QuickBooks Online, the transactions will be deleted from the Banking Transactions screen. If you have just left the transactions there, they will be deleted when you disconnect the credit card. If you have added them into QuickBooks, or if you do that now, then those added transactions will remain in QuickBooks after disconnecting.

Here’s how to disconnect the credit card account (after adding the transactions!):

Click Transactions>Banking from the left navigation panel.
Click the Pencil icon at the top right corner of your bank’s field.
Click Edit Account Info.
Check Disconnect this Account on Save.
Click Save.
