QB Issue Resolution:
“After doing further research into this, I have found that you would need to create a new memorized transaction in order to permanently change the amount”
That is incorrect.
Open the Memorized Transactions List. Double-click the one you need to Update.
Update the AMOUNT, on the check or bill or whatever. Make sure the top AMOUNT and the bottom Splits are both updated and in balance.
Use MEMORIZE, and you are warned this already exists. You are offered to REMEMORIZE, which is how you UPDATE this transaction.
Then, hit CLEAR. Do not let it be created for real, right now.
