QB Issue Resolution:
In QuickBooks, choose Employees->Payroll to get started using Intuit Online Payroll. It cost additional money and that’s usually what people don’t like about it. But it works really well, IMO, and is particularly good if you have several employees (and indispensable if you have employees in different states).
Intuit Online Payroll turns payroll into very simple steps, files tax forms electronically, reminds you when they are due, deducts pay and tax amounts automatically from your bank account, deposits pay in your employee and contractor bank accounts, electronically files 1099, and on and on. It also integrates automatically with QuickBooks Mac – paychecks download and are entered, taxes are entered, etc.
But it does carry a monthly fee.
