Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community. I’m here to provide some insight regarding this matter.

 

At this time, QuickBooks Online doesn’t have an option to set a default Deposit To account when receiving payments. However, it is programmed with sticky settings which means it’ll remember the last account that you used on the last recorded payment.

 

I can see how having this option would make it easier to record payments and follow the usual Accounts Receivable workflow in QuickBooks Online.¬†Rest assured, I’m going to submit a feature request from my side, which is sent to the Product Development Team.¬†They’re constantly looking for great ideas from users, like yourself, when deciding how to enhance QuickBooks.
