At this time, QuickBooks Online doesn’t have an option to set a default Deposit To account when receiving payments. However, it is programmed with sticky settings which means it’ll remember the last account that you used on the last recorded payment.
I can see how having this option would make it easier to record payments and follow the usual Accounts Receivable workflow in QuickBooks Online. Rest assured, I’m going to submit a feature request from my side, which is sent to the Product Development Team. They’re constantly looking for great ideas from users, like yourself, when deciding how to enhance QuickBooks.
