QB Issue Resolution:
QB 2010 for Mac doesn’t have a payment-receipt form. As you’ve discovered, the Sales Receipt is for recording on-the-spot sales, and the Invoice is for billing sales that will be paid later.
When I checked out the payment-history printout (related to my original answer), I found in my own company file that the printout ran off the page. Sheesh! Maybe you saw that result as well.
Your other option is to print an account statement covering the date range that includes the invoice and all of its credit and payments.
