QB Issue Resolution:

Running your first payroll can be exciting, if not a little challenging. Making sure everything is set up correctly is VITAL to avoid issues with back taxes, and trouble with the IRS later down the road.

The first thing you want to do is make sure you have all of your employee data. (W-4’s, I9’s, et C.)

On the left of your screen, click on the Employees tab. There, you’ll see a button that says Add Employee. Click that button, and enter the employee data for Each Employee you will be paying. Once you have that information entered, you’re ready to go.

Click on the button that says Run Payroll. Enter the hours for each employee, and we’ll handle the rest. We calculate all payroll taxes, for both the employee and you as the employer.

You can even Print your paychecks from here.

Once you’ve done this, you will need to enter all of your employer tax information. Don’t worry, our system will guide you through each step, making sure that you have everything entered correctly.
