QB Issue Resolution:
“but want to be able to have it in quick books online”
Even if you tracked it in QB, which you can on the desktop program, that is NOT tracked in the financials as an expense. It is a Tax Allowance and all you need is a mileage log app.
Tracking it in the Desktop program allows you to Charge it to clients. That is the only tool you are missing.
