Let me give you a hand with closing out of QuickBooks 2019. I appreciate all the details you sent about your OS and the kind of computer you’re using.

We’ve gotten reports from other uses about what you’ve described. Our engineering team is currently hard at work to resolve this bug and make closing the program easier. In the meantime, I have something you can try so you don’t have to use the Task Manager each time.

When you want to close, select File and Close Company, and then go back to File and select Exit. This should allow you to close out without have to force close the program. Give it a whirl and let me know what happens.
