It doesn’t appear that new file would be warranted in this situation.

The large number of changes in the accountants file may have been what was causing the problem.

One option in this area is to get a copy of the accountants full QuickBooks file and use that going forward as your main QuickBooks file. Particularly if the accountant made a lot more changes than you did while the accountants copy was outstanding.

The new list names and new transactions that you entered in your QuickBooks file, while the accountants copy was outstanding can be either manually reentered or transferred to the main QuickBooks file (the copy of the full QuickBooks file that you got from the accountant) using our Data Transfer Utility program.
