QB Issue Resolution:
I can provide you the steps on how to choose the tax and add this transaction, thibaut.
This message appears when your sales tax is already turned on. What we can do is set up a tax with a zero rate by following these steps:
- On the left panel, click Taxes.
- From the Tax window, click the Add tax button.
- Choose Tax rate, then enter the Tax name as Out of Scope or No Vat and then the Description.
- Select whether to apply the tax to sales only, purchases only, or both.
- Enter the rate as 0%, choose the Account, Show tax amount on return line and Show net amount on return line from the drop-down list.
- Click Save.
Go back to the banking page, click the transaction to expand and select the tax from the VAT drop-down list. Then, add the transaction by clicking the Add button.
