QB Issue Resolution:
When you click on the Gear icon in the upper right, do you have the option to SWITCH COMPANY?
If so, then both of your company files are under the same login which is good. You should be able to just click the newly created company and cancel it. Then, go into the other company file and click subscribe. If you have been charged for the new company file, Intuit can refund that charge.
If you don’t have the option to SWITCH COMPANY under the Gear icon, then your other company is probably under another login. You should call QuickBooks phone support if you don’t know that login and we can assist you in making sure you have access to the account that already has your transactions and cancel and refund you for the account you just created and don’t need.
