QB Issue Resolution:

Here are the steps on how you can change the date of the recorded deposit:

  1. Click the Magnifying Glass icon located in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Click Advanced Search.
  3. Select Deposits from the first drop down list.
  4. Choose Account from the second drop down list, and enter the account name.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Find the Deposit transaction and click to open.
  7. Change the Date.
  8. Click Save and Close.

You can also go to the bank register by clicking Accounting > Chart of Accounts and click the bank where the deposit is recorded. Then, change the date from there.
