QB Issue Resolution:
I’m not sure what “new start point” means.
If you had done work earlier in the day then later Restored a Backup Copy, you will lose what you did earlier in the day. You will need to re-enter everything again.
When you make a baciup copy, QB will keep everything in that backup. Later down the road, after working in QB for awhile and then you decide you need to Restore an older backup copy – your QB file will overwrite everything. Meaning, you will only have the information up to the day you made the backup copy. The backup copy doesn’t know about the data entries after the backup was made. You will not have access to anything after the backup date. You need to re-enter everyting.
