QB Issue Resolution:

You’ll need to create an estimate first before the invoice. In your case, since you already created an invoice, I suggest deleting the invoice and creating an estimate so you can link it to the Invoice afterward.
Here’s how to delete an existing Invoice:
- At the left tab, select the Sales option.
- Go to Invoices.
- Look for the Invoice transaction.
- Select More option.
- Click Delete.
- And select Yes.
