QB Issue Resolution:
You may add the 50% down payment using the deposit field within the invoice. You can activate this by following steps below:
1. Click on the gear at the upper right.
2. Click Accounts & Settings.
3. Click Sales > Click “sales form content”.
4. Tick on the “Deposit” option.
Once this is activated you can add deposit amount from the invoice. However, please do take note that this field does not take percentage amounts so you can just key in the actual amount as it is which will then reduce the total amount.
