If you encounter the following error while trying to import your file to QuickBooks Online, the fix is simple.

After clicking Open when you’re browsing for your file, you may see an error that looks something like this:

We’re sorry, we are not able to process your file

To correct this:

Locate the file on your hard drive (its address should be listed in the error itself as shown in the screenshot)
Copy and paste or drag the file to your desktop.
Click Back on the error screen and attempt to import the file from the new desktop location.
