QB Issue Resolution:

Usually if the program crashes at launch the issue is some incompatible third party software extension. The way to test that is to reboot your Mac while holding down the shift key. This disables third party extensions and drivers. Then launch QuickBooks and see if it crashes. If it doesn’t the problem is some hack or extension. These commonly are “enhancements” to the Mac OS that add functionality to all programs. Often they have a System Preference pane and can be disabled there (or are associated with third party hardware).

If you contact me via email at the email address next to my name and include a link to this thread I’ll look for the crashes. We don’t answer individual crash reports – instead they are aggregated to find the most common occurrences.
