QB Issue Resolution:
I’d be delighted to help provide clarification about the search function in QuickBooks Online.
If you’re referring to the search function in the upper-right corner, please know that this mainly designed for finding transactions only. To search for customers, you can go to the Customers tab, and use the search bar.
Here are the steps:
- On the left panel, click Sales.
- Go to the Customers tab.
- Use the search bar.
Please check this screenshot for your visual guide:
I’m also personally taking note of your request regarding the search function. For now, I recommend you visit the QuickBooks Blog website to stay up to date to new features and options.
