QB Issue Resolution:

Normally, whatever account you have set up when creating a bill, that’s the same account that will show up in your report. What we’ll want to do first is check the account associated to those bills in your Chart of Accounts. This is to make sure that we get to review all of the transactions under that account.

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the Account that you’re referring to.
  3. Click Run Report
  4. Click each bill to open the transaction.

To change the account that you’ve used on the bill, just click the drop-down under the Account column. Then click Save and Close, and Yes to modify the transaction. If you won’t be using this account moving forward, you can make the account inactive after transferring all the transactions.
