QB Issue Resolution:

How are you liking QuickBooks Online compared to Desktop?


Have you created these specific A/R accounts in your Chart of Accounts? Once you have them labeled and categorized, whenever you process an invoice or payment, just assign the specific A/R account. This way, customers’ payments hit the specific A/R account.


I will include a video below showing how to assign payments to an account.



Now, if you want to make the invoice “recurring” and have the money always hit the same account for the same customer (note – this only works if everything, including the items, are exactly the same for the recurring basis), you can do a recurring invoice and designate the specific A/R account you need. The QBO Show did a great video on this (I will include a link).
