QB Issue Resolution:

The Auto Data Recovery file is can be created once you closed company file. However, if your backup file size is more than 1.5 GB, it will not be created. http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/HOW13772

Check the file size of your Backup Copy and see if it exceeds 1.5 GB.
