QB Issue Resolution:

Make sure you are viewing your balance sheet on the accrual basis and not cash basis.

If you are looking at an accrual basis balance sheet and still do not see accounts receivable, do you see accounts receivable on the balance sheet with a zero balance? If so, click on it and follow the transactions to determine why it is zero.

If the account is not showing at all, click Customize.
Make sure accounting method is Accrual
In the Rows/Columns section choose All under Show Rows

That should bring the account to the balance sheet report.
