QB Issue Resolution:

Allow me to walk you through in deleting some space in your Intuit Data Protect.

For starters, make sure to restore all important backup folders first before purging, as there is no way to retrieve those deleted data. Lastly, ensure that your IDP program have latest version which has the Purge functionality.

Here’s how to purge your files:

  1. Right-click Intuit Data Protect icon.
  2. Click Open Intuit Data Protect.
  3. Press Ctrl+R on your keyboard.
  4. IDP will compute the contents of each folder.
  5. Click Delete on the folder you wish to purge.
  6. Choose Yes on the confirmation window.
  7. Click OK.
