QB Issue Resolution:

From the home page screen

Select Create + Sign (upper-middle)
Select Bank Deposit under Other header
Received From = Landlord
Account = “Rent Deposit account as Asset on Balance Sheet”
or credit to Rent Expense account. It depends on how paid rent deposit was originally recorded. It should come out the same account.
