QB Issue Resolution:

My Collections Report is showing customer credits; how can I see open invoices only?

The collections report is designed to show all open, overdue balances and credits for customers, however, this report can be customized to show open invoices only.

Go to Reports and click All reports.
Click on Manage accounts receivable.
Click on Collections Report.
On the top left click on the Customize button.
To the left click Lists.
From the Terms: menu select Specified.
Click Run Report.

Since credit memos, refunds and payments do not include terms, filtering the report in this manner will only show open invoices for customers with outstanding balances in accounts receivable.
