QB Issue Resolution:

I think the whole bill amount is what you see on the credit card reconciliation because when you allow the bill to be created after reconciling credit card it takes the whole balance out. This is one of the confusing things when reconciling credit cards. The bill payments are logged only to credit accounts payable but not the credit card account directly. I suggest you edit the bill and just put the amount of the bill payment and we are expecting that the bill amount will reflect the bill payment in the reconciliation window. Moving forward, after you’re done reconciling the credit card don’t select anything on the prompt that asks you to either create a bill or a check to pay it (just close out the pop up) and record your credit card payment using write checks.
